Every 12 Years the Year of the Tiger pops up on the cosmic wheel. Every 60 years – like now – it is the Year of the Water Tiger. [2.1.2022 – 1.23.2023]
In China, the Tiger supplanted the lion as the king of beasts. He is a symbol of strength, exorcising evils, and bravery. During the Year of the Water Tiger, these auspicious traits come to the fore, indicating a prosperous year ahead.
For my part, I am especially looking forward to the exorcising of evils. The world could certainly use it.
So, welcome the year with tea and almond cookies. And a mighty roar. Happy New Year.
